After our Architect designed our new home. Welcome Homes completed a house that has met our every expectation. Colin and Iben from Welcome Homes understood our requirements and were very professional in their day to day handling of the project. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved.

We have recently had the pleasure of having a lovely home built for us by Colin Bertram of Welcome Homes. Colin understood the style of the house we wished to have and the finished home is everything we had hoped for. He made sure a high standard of workmanship had been maintained throughout our home and he has also paid a great deal of attention to detail, which we have appreciated. We also appreciated his completion date during this busy building boom by ensuring there were no building delays and thus enabling us to settle in our new home with minimum of delay.

If you are embarking on a house building journey, it can be intimidating - particularly if you have not done it for awhile. If you are considering using Welcome Homes then we think you are on the right track. From the initial contact, we found dealing with Colin extremely easy. He made several suggestions which helped us finalise the design of our house and helped our budget.

This house is the fourth house we have built and we were well aware that things don’t always go smoothly. Our hope was that at the end of the project that we would be as positive with our builder as when we started. Right from the ground works, we found the organization of the contractors and subcontractors went smoothly, on time (as much as can be expected in this building boom) and in general very good quality. As the project progresses we made a few changes which were all handled with minimal disruption.

In summary we are very pleased with the quality, the ease of getting in contact and quick response of Colin and his team. We have no hesitation in recommending him to any prospective home builder.

We are extremely pleased with our new home built for us by Welcome Homes. From the outset they understood what we wanted to achieve and the finished result is everything we wished for. A high standard of workmanship is evident throughout and all of the features that were important to us are exactly as we planned. We also appreciated the timeliness of responses to our queries and questions throughout and the no-fuss attitude to changes along the way.

We have no hesitation to say that we are one hundred percent satisfied with our new house we built through Welcome Homes. It is more than a year since we moved in and we have not had any problems so far. We had a very friendly rapport with the team during and after the construction.

We experienced major problems with our project due to the local council, Welcome Homes supported us and their assistance helped us to achieve an amicable result. We were referred to Welcome Homes by a past client of theirs and have happily referred them to others since.

Having recently moved into our new home we would most certainly recommend Welcome Homes to anyone contemplating building.  From our initial introductory meeting with their sales rep through to receiving our keys from Colin himself we would have to say our experience was one for good memories.  Throughout the process we always felt it was very much a team effort and that the lines of communication were always open.  Colin, his wife Sheryl, and their wonderful team always made us feel as though what we were achieving together was not only special to us but to them as well.

One of the great things about our experience was that when paying the final installment there were no “nasty” surprises, any variations to the price had been well discussed and documented along the way allowing for us to budget accordingly.

We have recently built our new home with the Hamilton firm Welcome Homes. We would like to say what a great group of people they were to work with and would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending them as a building company.

When we first visited their (Welcome Homes) show home on Newells Road we were impressed with the workmanship and finish of the home. It is often said that a show home finish is not what you actually get when you build, as firms do that to show off their capability, but not necessarily what they carry out on all jobs. We can honestly say the finish to our home is at least equal to, if not better, than what we observed in the show home. We say ‘better’ because we were able to note the changes that we would like and when they were carried out as specified, we believe we ended up with a home (product) that was at least to the standard we had noted in the show home. They certainly live up to their statement of intent of completing work above the industry standard and requirement’.

At all stages of the building project the Welcome Home team treated us with respect and honesty. If at any time there was something we were unsure about, or a minor discrepancy in what we had intended, they listened to our ideas and without hesitation carried out our wishes. To complete a project the size of our home and feel that we have now made a new of group of friends is testimony to the professionalism of the company.
